This too shall pass; time is the healer of all pain. These words are words we all hear when we lose a loved one. They are not comforting whilst one is in the mist of sadness. In them though there is truth.
The untimely departure from us left us in so much pain, living one day at a time. Waking up thinking you’ll still be there. In time Zolani we will learn to accept what has happened. We will find it in our hearts to forgive, for in our hearts we know you loved peace. Your parting was not sweet, well passing on is never sweet. But yours was bitter, for it felt it was fit for vultures to part from this earth violently, but not a kind, warm young man like you.
Pain has become our daily routine; we all phone each other, trying to comfort each other, while we’re all in pain. With each day that goes by, we will learn to share memories of your life; we will fall in love with your Hip hop music. For those are some of the memories we have of you. We will find the words in your loved songs, to bring us closer to you. You may be gone, but your memory will live on in our hearts. Your works of Art are left behind so we could feel you through them.
The pain we feel now will in time be sweet memories of your young life. We will right about you and we will engrave your name in our hearts. We know someday we will be reunited with you, not in this life, but in the next.
All we can do is close our eyes and feel your spirit around us and the love you had for each and every one of us.

Fish falling from the sky
Mother Nature is crying for help, the very people who were placed to care for her, are the very same people who are destroying her.
What will it take for the human race to realise that we are destroying our natural resources. The cries of nature are all around us, “Fish are falling from the sky, for the waters are no longer a safe haven for them. The seas are filled with oils that we dug up selfishly for our own personal gains. We have rearranged what was put on earth for us to enjoy.
What made the human race to be so cold? Could it have been the trust that was put upon them to be the leaders of all that was on earth? There was enough fish for all of us; all we had to do was to respect its habitat. Protect the fish in the waters and not chase it away. Who would have thought in our own time fish would be falling from the sky. These are their cries, these are their tears. We have become ungrateful, and we have turned our superiority into stupidity.
Let us save the fish from falling, let us put the fish back where it belongs, for we all have a place on the earth, and we are all placed to serve a purpose. The fish was also placed for a purpose, and we come and take that right away, by taking it wrongfully from the waters into the sky. It does not belong in the sky, hence it will fall from the sky as it longs for the waters down below.

Broken Wing
A phone call in the middle of the night or the early hours of the morning always bares bad news. The phone rang and I picked it up, it my drunken state of mind from my deep sleep, I could not make up what was being said. The phone rang again, I still could not make up what was being said, and somehow I thought I was just dreaming. The third ring could not be ignored, although I was still drowsy, I forced my eyes to open and my mind to stay awake. The person on the other line could not finish the line. I knew something was wrong, I knew something was terribly wrong.
I drove as fast as I could, with my little ones fast asleep on the back seat. In the early hours of a Sunday morning and my aunt’s house was packed with old women in their blankest. My heart started racing, but my tears ran out of my eyes faster than I could open my mouth and ask what was wrong. Sadness and loss was written on each and everyone’s face in the sitting room. As I entered the main bedro0om of the house, there in a transparent plastic bag, were my nephew’s clothes, coved in blood. I felt cold from down my feet, I could not feel my own heart beating, I cried like I never did before. I wanted to back to sleep and be woken up, from this bad dream. But that was not to happen, I would later be told that my nephew was no longer with us.
It has been almost two weeks from since he left us, and I seem to have lost my sleep. He was not my son, but he was my child too. The love I had and still feel for him, was incredible.
He was learning how to fly; he was at his tender prime of his life. He was an eagle whose wing was broken violently.

The Colour of the wind
The Colour of the wind
Lyrics by Vanessa Williams… “And you'll never hear the wolf cry
To the blue corn moon
For whether we are white or copper-skinned
We need to sing with all the voices of the mountains
Need to paint with all the colours of the wind
You can own the Earth and still all you'll own is earth
Until you can paint with all the colours of the wind”
The colours of the winders are the colours of all human beings on this earth. We are all connected by all other elements of the universe. The wind is powerful, because it’s all our strengths combined. We don’t see much beauty in the colour of the wind; because we are so busy trying to find the reason for its anger at times, that we miss out on its beauty. You think the only people who are people, Are the people who look and think like you. But if you walk the footsteps of a stranger, You learn things you never knew
If we could just try to sing with blow together like the wind, then we sure can find much more that what we think we are. Instead of trying to understand why the other pigmentation is better than the other, perhaps we can see and feel the beauty of the wind. The wind is a true reflection of the human race, for it reflects no colour to the naked eye, but its different moods at different times. The wind chooses not who to destroy, or help build, it is nature.
The colour of the wind is the human race.

If I were a boss
If I were a boss
For me being a boss goes hand in hand with being a good leader. If I were to be given an opportunity to lead people I would make sure I do the best I know how.
If I were in my boss’s shoes I would make an open door policy, where stuff can be free to come into my office and just chat. I would mix managerial styles, because I believe no style is perfect on its own. There would be no need for sick certificate, your word would be good enough and I would enforce the word of trust amongst my employees. There would be respect for all different cultures and customs. This might be abused, but a plan would be formulated so that the system is not abused.
If I were a boss I would offer my employees free breakfast and lunch, this I believe leads to more productivity in the organisation. There would be a gym facility in the office. I would also partner up with other companies so we could be able to work out discounts for certain things. There would be more transparency within the organisation, so that everyone feels they are a part of the organisation.
The most important thing would be to make my employees happy and make my organisation a happy company to work for, yet productive at the same time.

“We never live; we are always in the expectation of living.” ~Voltaire
The Quote from Voltaire had me thinking about life in general and how we always make our decision to best suite others and think that we'll take care of ourselves next time or later, as if we've had a long discussion with the powers that be and have been promised immortality to right all our the wrongs, learn
and have eternity to experience life.
“Your time is limited, don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living the result of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of other’s opinion drown your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition, they somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.” – Steve Jobs
